Research contents:
Investigate fundamental mechanisms governing electrochemical energy conversion processes: electrocatalytic hydrogen production (HER), fuel cell reactions, and CO₂ reduction (CO2RR). Decipher reaction pathways, active-site dynamics, and mass/charge transport limitations via in situ/operando spectroscopy and multiscale modeling. Optimize catalyst synthesis and engineer electrode architectures and membrane interfaces to mitigate efficiency bottlenecks and degradation.
