Qinghua Liu (刘庆华), PI of the group of Energy Conversion and in situ Characterization Laboratory at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Liu received his Ph.D. from National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (NSRL) in 2009. His current research interests focus on the synthesis and characterizations of advanced energy functional nanomaterials for photocatalytic, electrochemical, and photoelectrochemical applications and the development of advanced in situ/operando synchrotron radiation experimental techniques and their applications in energy storage and reaction mechanism. He has published more than 190 papers in high-impact journals, including: Nature energy, Nature chemistry, Nature Communications, J. Am. Chem. Soc., and Angew. Chem. All the published papers have been cited more than 15000 times (Google Scholar), and 28 papers were selected as highlight, hot, back & inside cover, and ESI highly-cited papers. He has presided more than 10 scientific projects including the Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of Anhui Province and the Key Project of the Joint Fund for Large Scientific Installations and the Special Project of Infrared Free Electron Laser of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was awarded the first-class prize of Anhui Natural Science in 2022. In recent 5 years, He has been invited to write 9 relevant review and research articles and make more than 20 plenary/keynote/invited speeches themed on “the development and application of in situ synchrotron radiation technologies” at relevant academic conferences.


刘庆华(Qinghua Liu),2009年获中国科学技术大学博士学位(导师:韦世强教授),同年留校从事博士后研究(合作导师:谢毅院士),2012年留校工作至今。安徽省杰出青年人才项目和安徽省自然科学一等奖获得者。主要从事发展同步辐射先进实验方法学及其在新型能源转化功能材料领域应用的研究工作。基于我国的同步辐射装置,发展表界面结构敏感的同步辐射X射线吸收精细结构谱学(XAFS)实验方法和固-液相光/电催化反应过程原位探测的同步辐射红外谱学(SRIR)实验技术,应用于燃料电池、水电解池和CO2还原等先进能源存储和转换系统的氧//氮相关反应的动力学过程监测。发表论文190余篇,代表性成果以第一或通讯作者发表在Nature EnergyNature ChemistryNature Commun.Adv. Mater.J. Am. Chem. Soc.Angew. Chem.等上。发表的论文总被引用15000余次,个人H因子55Google Scholar)。主持了国家自然科学基金大科学装置联合基金重点项目和红外专项项目等10余项课题,2022年获得安徽省杰出青年基金资助。相关成果荣获2021年度安徽省自然科学一等奖。近5年来受邀在相关国内/国际学术会议上做原位同步辐射技术发展和应用的大会报告/主题报告/邀请报告20余次,受邀撰写相关综述和研究论文9篇。共指导/协助指导20余名研究生获得博士和硕士学位,指导的研究生中有13人次获得研究生国家奖学金、中科院院长奖、中科大优秀博士论文、安徽省优秀毕业生等。
